Well we all guessed it; a 3.7L V6 powers the new Nissan 370Z.
The increase of displacement from 3.5L to 3.7L than that of the 350Z allows an additional 26hp gain from the new engine, hitting an impressive total of 332hp. Along with this; the 370Z gets a shorter wheelbase than that of the previous generation 350Z to improve in the handling department. We also hoped that the new model will go on a much needed diet, and it has; Nissan have said that the 370Z will use lightweight materials (generally aluminium we suspect) to shed a few kg's even with the power increase, how much lighter is yet to be said.
Taking all this in, all we expect is a more agile and powerful performance machine that should be even better to drive on and off the track, we simply can't wait to get our hands on one and I bet the tuners and fans out there can't wait either!
More details to be announced at the upcoming LA Auto Show.
