GM Says No To Superbowl XLIII Advertising

When you’re trying to cut expenses by US$10 billion dollars, even the fun stuff has to go. 

After many years of advertising during the Superbowl, General Motors have confirmed that they will pull advertising from next February’s XLIII game.  In the past GM is reported to have spent over US$70 million in advertising on game day.

The folks at egmcartech have reminded us of a classic General Motors advertisement shown during the 2007 Superbowl.  Take a look for yourself
