Triumph's sublime Street Triple 675 was recently pitched against the 'who's who' of middleweight naked bikes and is still sitting pretty on top of the pile! Bikes included were the Suzuki SV650, Kawasaki Z750, Ducati Monster, Yamaha FZ6N, Honda CB600F and, of course, the mighty Street Triple.
Comments such as "The best kept secret in motorcycling", "This is without doubt the best mapped fuel-injected engine I've ever experienced", and "Not only is this bike amazing in the engine department, but it is also blessed with incredibly well sorted, albeit non-adjustable front suspension" were common place through out the comparo.
Triumph's Marketing Manager Mal Jarrett stated: "The other brands must hate us!" Every comparo that I've read too date puts the Street Triple so far ahead of the competition, that it's almost embarrassing. At $12,490 plus ORC, the Street Triple gives you more bang for your buck than any other bike I can think of on the market today".
