Launched earlier this year, and new from the ground up, Freelander 2 delivers outstanding on-road performance as well as the class-leading off-road ability of a true Land Rover. It is already a multi-award winning vehicle, having picked up prestigious motoring accolades in the UK, USA, Ireland and Austria, including BBC Top Gear's SUV of the Year 2007.

"The Freelander 2 demonstrates Land Rover's dynamic design, with a smart and spacious interior, and an abundance of advanced technologies complete the package," says Phil Popham, managing director, Land Rover. "Now, the Premium Pack on the Freelander 2 offers subtle changes for those seeking an even more premium look to their vehicle, which we believe will give it even wider customer appeal."

The all new Freelander 2 has been awarded a top five star rating, for occupant protection, in the Australian European New Car Assessment Programme (ANCAP). Previously, the Freelander 2 had been awarded five stars for adult protection, and four stars for child protection, in Euro NCAP tests.

Designed and engineered by Land Rover at Gaydon, near Warwick, Freelander 2 is built at the Halewood plant in Liverpool, where outstanding build quality has been acknowledged with a JD Power European Plant Quality Gold Award in 2005.
