New Bugatti Veyron Targa - (Global)

Rumours about a Targa variant of the Veyron have been going around for the past 2 years. Inside Line says a new Bugatti Veyron Targa will be launching mid-August at the 2008 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. Approximately 80 units of this limited run will be produced for the global market.

The new design features a fabric cover and a speculated top speed limited to 217mph. The image shown by Auto Express indicates what we could expect on launch day.

With the current hard-top Veyron priced at US$2,000,000 expect the Targa variant to add an additional US$280,000.
