Porsche Australia has begun construction of its second dealership for Melbourne Victoria, located on Nepean Highway Brighton positioned amongst other car dealerships.
The only other dealer in Victoria is located on Victoria Parade, Collingwood. Showroom and servicing is located on the ground floor with head office upstairs.
Since 2006, Porsche sales in Australia have grown exponentially therefore requiring a presence in Melbourne’s South Eastern suburbs. Amongst the new Porsche dealer are Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Alfa Romeo, BMW, MINI, Toyota, Peugeot, Holden, Ford, Nissan, Hyundai, Mazda, Mitsubishi and many more.
Heading up construction of the new Porsche Brighton dealership is Lanskey Constructions, Lanskey’s previous projects include big names such as BP, Shell and Caltex petrol stations, Carlton United Breweries, Hungry Jacks, Krispy Kreme, TGI Fridays, McDonalds and KFC to name a few.
In Australia Porsche currently have 3 dealers located in NSW, 2 in Queensland and 1 each in South Australia, Western Australia, ACT, Tasmania and the Northern Territory.
Brighton’s new Porsche dealer is expected to open in early 2009 in time for the launch of the new Panamera for late 2009.
