Audi Australia has announced ARIA’s Matthew Moran as the company’s newest brand Ambassador.

Joining other Australian luminaries like Collette Dinnigan, George Gregan, Ian Thorpe, Grant Hackett, Steve Waugh, Adam Gilchrist and Catherine Freeman to name a few, Moran perfectly reflects the brand’s values of ‘progressiveness’ and ‘sophistication’.

The Audi Ambassador program was established in 1997 to give the German premium brand an Australian face, by working with high-profile individuals who embodied the brand’s values of sporty, progressive and sophisticated.

Now in its 11th year in Australia, the program has been incredibly successful, generating long-term relationships with key Australian icons, raising brand profile and awareness by working with local personalities that reflect the brand’s humanity.

Head chef and co-owner of ARIA Restaurant, Matt Moran, is already an Audi owner and is now a true Ambassador for the brand. With an RS4 and A6 3.0 TDI allroad quattro, Matt is a fan of the Audi ethos.

After many years of cooking, Moran says he is lucky enough to own a restaurant which has not only one of the most spectacular views in the world, but one which can also access the best food produce available. He is supported by a brigade of thirty dedicated and talented chefs, but there has been plenty of blood, sweat and tears to achieve success.

Moran has been cooking for over 24 years and loving it as much now as he did as a 15 year old first year apprentice in his first kitchen at la Belle Helene restaurant on Sydney’s lower north shore.

At ARIA since 1999, Moran and his team are constantly searching for innovative ideas that can be introduced for clientele, and with that in mind, Moran recently purpose-built The Kitchen Table. An unique room built in ARIA’s main kitchen with leather banquettes and retractable glass windows which allow guests to sample an eight course degustation menu and watch it being prepared as they eat it.

In many ways running a top class restaurant is similar to operating a successful car company. The success of Audi has been achieved through creativity, commitment, investment and the ability to generate enthusiasm. The ultimate goal is to deliver a first-class customer experience. Moran shares the same principles and his innovative thinking and success is testament to this.
