Tour de France runner-up to swap two wheel for four at Sandown Raceway.
World cycling ProTour champion, Tour de France 2007 runner-up and Australian cycling hero Cadel Evans has returned home and will head straight to the track next week, but he will be without bicycle, stopwatch or lycra.
Cadel will climb aboard a Lotus Exige S for some hot laps around Sandown Raceway during a private practice track day. Evans, a keen Lotus enthusiast and owner of a Lotus Elise R in Switzerland, relishes any chance to spend time in a Lotus on track.
Evans will lap Sandown Raceway on Thursday December 6, in the lead up to the Sandown GT Classic race on Dec 7-9, in a 163kW Lotus Exige S.
