03/01/2007: Jaguar Cars today announces that Connell (CJ) O'Donnell has been appointed to the role of Global Marketing Director. He succeeds Stephen Perrin who retired from the position at the end of last year.
O'Donnell, 44, was previously Jaguar Marketing Strategy Director. Prior to this, he held the position of Executive Vice president of Sales and Marketing for Jaguar North America joining the marque in 2004 having held several roles within Ford Motor Company.
Commenting on his new position, O'Donnell said, "Jaguar is a contemporary, luxury brand. Our recent marketing campaign has been successful in strengthening core brand attributes such as design, craftsmanship and performance. I see it as my role to take this on to the next level and I am delighted that a central part of this will be the launch of the new Jaguar XF in the autumn of 2007."
