Just weeks before it is due to be released in Australia, the Cadillac CTS has been spotted on the streets of Melbourne, close to GM Holden’s head office in Port Melbourne by the Press Portal News Team.
As previously confirmed, Australians will be provided with a 3.6L V6 engine generating 227kW and 370Nm. The CTS has also just gone on sale in the UK, a right hand drive market like Australia. UK magazine AutoCar has just road tested the CTS giving it 3 out of 5 stars, commenting that it is a compelling package nobbled by its drivetrain.
The CTS will compete alongside established luxury models such as the BMW 5-Series, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Audi A6, Lexus GS and the Jaguar XF. We look forward to driving the car in the coming months to give our verdict.
