GT-R Spec V Delayed, New S-Tune for the Interim - (Global)

August 6th, 2008
Previous - Next

The hyped about Nissan GT-R Spec V has hit a speed bump in production and won’t be seen till early 2009.

Speculation says that the Spec V has big shoes to fill, and the standard GT-R seems to deliver unbeatable performance even for Nissan to toppel! It’s still unconfirmed why the delay exists, but the undoubtable high demand for the standard model will more likely than not have something to do with it.

With all this bad news comes a shed of light. In place of the delayed Spec V comes the third model in the line-up, the S-Tune, which will offer the Nismo developed go-fast bits which will include suspension modifications, an aerodynamic package, larger & lighter wheels, an upgraded ECU and a new extract system.

Expect this model to arrive as soon as the end of this month.
