Mitsubishi 380 Series III Goes Platinum

December 12th, 2007

Mitsubishi Motors Australia Limited has announced the arrival of a new Platinum Edition of its 380 Series III sedan, now available in showrooms across the country. Limited to just 1,000 units, the Platinum Edition is based on the 380 ES model and features over $6,000 worth of extra equipment.

Available from a recommended retail price of $28,990 (manual model), the 380 Series III Platinum Edition combines the established quality and affordability of the award-winning 380 with a select range of outstanding features sure to appeal to customers looking for that ‘extra something’.

Upgrades to the exterior of the 380 Platinum Edition include six-spoke 17 inch alloy wheels with sports suspension, exclusive Platinum badging, body coloured fog lamp bezels, platinum finish upper and lower grille and a chrome exhaust tip.

The interior is equally stylish and adds an electric sunroof, Bluetooth capabilities and an extra accessory socket to power mobile phones or MP3 players to the 380 ES model's standard equipment.

The 380 Platinum Edition is available in five eye-catching colours and with either a five-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission. The automatic variant can also be converted to LPG.

Recently voted Australia’s Most Affordable Family Car by Automotive Associations, the 380 Series III has also claimed the title of the year's Most Secure Large Car by the National Motor Vehicle Theft Reduction Council
