According to AutoCar magazine, due to the current economic slowdown Jaguar is likely to cut production of its two most expensive model ranges, the XJ and XK by the end of the month.
A Jaguar spokesperson was quoted as saying that “final decisions have yet to be made, but its likely production of XJ and XK will be reduced, primarily in response to global demand”.
However news is not all bad at Jaguar as sales of the XF are going well. As a result 300 workers from Land Rover have recently moved to Jaguar to help manufacture more of the large luxury sedans.
