Audi Rewards Dealership Excellence

March 7th, 2008

Audi Australia has announced the winners of the inaugural Audi Dealer of the Year – Mark of Excellence Awards.

The Awards recognised excellence in dealership performance and professional across all areas of the business from sales to after-sales in 2007.

According to Audi’s general manager of sales, Andrew Doyle, the Mark of Excellence awards aren’t a popularity contest, or an award for the most sales.

“They are designed to recognise and reward the dealership that performs the best in relation to targets,” said Mr Doyle.

“It’s also a celebration for a great year last year – and a thank you from Audi’s managing director, Joerg Hofmann, and the entire Audi team.”

Recognising the contribution of all dealerships, managing director, Joerg Hofmann, believes that Audi’s incredible growth over the past three years is testament to the efforts of the entire team and dealer network.

“It was a very emotional event. Audi has been on a steep growth path in the past three years, running from record to record by virtue of tough decisions and very hard work,” Mr Hofmann said.

“It is a great brand, with exceptional product and a strong team. Nonetheless it still takes determination to succeed and for this we thank our committed dealer network for helping achieve our record results. It was very gratifying to hear several Dealer Principals express their strong desire to be up on stage next year accepting the award. It’s a goal worth striving for,” he added.

And the winners are….

1st Audi Centre Gold Coast
2nd Audi Five Dock
3rd Audi Centre Brisbane

1st Audi Centre Canberra
2nd Honeycombes Townsville
3rd Audi Gallery Newcastle

The Audi Dealer of the Year awards were presented at a black tie function held at The Carousel at Albert Park Lake on the eve of the 2008 Melbourne International Motor Show. Audi Ambassador, Sarah Murdoch, emceed the evening.
