British adventurer and environmentalist, David de Rothschild, together with Russian opera star Anna Netrebko, will tonight hand over the BMW CleanEnergy Award at a grand charity gala event.
Film-makers and stars from all over the world will join the pair, as BMW presents the award in recognition for cinematic work which deals with the threat to our climate and environment.
Celebrity guests will travel in style to the Konzerthaus Berlin in the word’s first premium luxury saloon running on hydrogen - the BMW Hydrogen 7.
Twenty vehicles will be used to ferry the guests of honour, which include German supermodel Nadja Auermann and Russian opera star Anna Netrebko.
Auermann and Netrebko are among a number of celebrities who are the first to test the BMW Hydrogen 7 in personal day-to-day use.BMW CleanEnergy and Cinema for Peace are committed to improving the environment and human living conditions on a lasting basis.
